3. Use butter generously to coat your baking vessel

7. Use salt reasonably, if you cut sodium low it will affect the taste of the item adversely
8. If your recipe demands to turning the item around halfway, do it or else you will end up burning it
9. Stick to the oven temperature mention in your recipe
10. Give your baked item ample standing time and allow it to settle
